Kantaka cars

Kantanka Automobile is a Ghana-based automotive company that designs, manufactures, assembles and sells luxury vehicles. It was founded in 1994 by entrepreneur and preacher Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.

This was introduced as a limited liability related to the manufacture of auto parts and the combination with other parts commissioned by the parts suppliers to form a complete unit.

In 1998, his first complete build unit (CBU) was produced using over 75% local parts, including the engine block. His first SUV, Onantefo, was built in 2006. 

Kwadwo Safo Kantanka is also the founder of Christo Asafo (Christian Reformation) Church, the Seven Day Movement in Ghana. 

The Kantanka vehicle is assembled in Ghana using disassembly kits supplied by a Chinese company, probably Foday via Chongqing Big Science & Technology.
