 Fally Ipupa has reported the journalist Gauthier Sey to court for defaming about him. Month ago, In a television show "Bossolo Na Politik" Hosted by a journalist Israel Mutombo, Gauthier Sey made serious accusations against Fally Ipupa, calling him a liar and added that " Fally Ipupa  built his success on lies."

According to Gauthier, Fally would not have any contract with the Vivendi company, and would be incapable of singing in the presence of other artists. Furthermore, he said "During rehearsals before his performance at the Martyrs Stadium; he goes even further by saying that the artist "would have fraudulently obtained a Gold record in France. » "

Fally reacted to these defamatory statements against him and harmful to his reputation. The artist decided to take legal measures by reporting the journalist Gauthier Sey at peace court in Kinshasa, on Friday September 1, 2023. where he hopes to restore the truth and put an end to the defamatory accusations against him.

Indeed, the legal proceedings took place on Tuesday September 5 in Kinshasa, the political capital of the democratic republic of Congo. Gauthier was unable to provide evidence for his allegation concerning the artist Fally Ipupa “Eagle”. Hence his lawyers asked the court to grant at least two (2) weeks to Mr. Gauthier Sey to gather evidence and bring it to court on September 19, 2023. So day d-11.

Is Fally Ipupa a victim of his success?. Honorable MP Mike Mukebayi sent a message to the “Fally ipupa” from his cell in Makala Prison, where he has been detained for a while.
