Who is Ala's Salah? 

Ala's Salah, she is a 22 years old student, she has been present since the manifestation started against "the new former president Omar El-Béchir" . Ala's Salah has become one of the symbolic, icon of revolution in Soudan.

she was fighting against the injustice that the country uses to face. Bravely she stood on top of the car's roof and singing the revolution song with other protester as well as men and women.
she said "Bullet does not kill, its the silence of a man who kills".

this woman is inspiring fellow sudanese protesters. Images of Alaa salah chanting at an anti-government rally have gone viral and she became a meme on social media; protests against sudan's government began in December. Alaa Salah is among those urging sudan's president.

online she's been dubbed "Kendaka" Kendaka means a strong revolutionary woman or queen in Nubian Culture. The student and activist confirmed her identity to "DW" via phone and she said: she's glad to a <<revolution>> underway in Sudan.

Human right Watch says women activists in Sudan are often disproportionately targeted during protest crackdowns. But women are playing an important role in the current unrest, Sudan's protests erupted due to economic turmoil. They blame president Omar EL-Béchir and wanted an end to his 30-years rule.
