Samuel Nartey George is  an agricultural engineer and   politician,  a member of the  National Democratic Congress.  He is a member of the eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, representing Ningo-Prampram constituency.  He is from Ahwiam, Old  Ningo. One decade " 10 years" jail term, ₦ 5m forfeiture await Nigerians who do not recite new public hymn

 The House of Representatives has introduced the Counter Subversion Bill 2024, proposing harsh penalties for Nigerians who refuse to recite the national hymn, destroy public symbols, or deface places of deification.  The bill, sponsored by Speaker  Tajudeen Abbas  [legit.ng] Under the proposed legislation, individualities who refuse to recite the public hymn face a forfeiture of ₦ 5 million, a 10- years prison judgment, or both. According to Sahara journalists, the bill also extends this discipline to anyone set up shamefaced of destroying public symbols or defacing a place of deification with intent to incite violence. TikTok will begin labelling content created using artificial intelligence

  The move announced on Thursday, May 9, aims to address concerns about misinformation proliferating on the popular social media platform. Tiktok @africanews "AI enables incredible creative opportunities, but can confuse or mislead viewers if they don't know the content was AI-generated," the company said in a prepared statement. "Labelling helps make that context clear—which is why we label AIGC made with TikTok AI effects and have required creators to label realistic AIGC for over a year."
